Yes, 'withdraw' from college. Everyone in college knows what that BIG word means.

I had a 'happy' life until recently when my mum went crazy bout nonsensical thing and my test results got so tuuting bad. From bad to worst, like I don't know what will be my results for the coming test on Friday. WORST it is.

I have no mood to study anymore seriously. ~~the study mood~~
No, I never had any study mood. More like, whenever I feel I 'need' to study...

Everybody was asking me why didn't I held a party since I became an adult on this day.
Should celebrate the FREEDOM~!!!
Unfortunately, to plan a party isn't that easy... I ~~was~~ am very busy with my college assignments and test.
Seriously no break till the end of semester, I am not joking.
Plus, I am really afraid no one would attend my party therefore I chose to have small gatherings with my friends and family.
This idea is great! I had the time of ma life... exaggerating much. HAHA, I had fun! I love spending time with my friends and family without having to worry bout 'guest list'.
Oh, by the way, my dad says my birthday is even better than the king's because I celebrated 4 days in a row.

I know what a place right.
We were suppose to go for buffet with free flow 'haagan dazs' but they claimed the menu was outdated. Straits quay was the next choice then we don't have to drive elsewhere for desserts.

Do you know the 'history' of Bak Chang?

I bet you don't. Many of us don't know why and how bak chang is formed.

Last weekend when I was back at my grandma's place, she was busy wrapping bak chang.

As she wrap, I sat there listening to the Bak Chang Story which is very interesting and quite sad to know most of us only know how to eat without knowing the true meaning of this festival.

The summary:

Long, long, long time ago a Chinese poet named QuYuan was depressed over something happened in his country. He committed suicide due to depression.

His people wanted to save him but couldn't so they thought of a way to chase the fishes away.

They beat drums and throw bak chang into the river hoping that the fishes would eat the bak chang instead of QuYuan's body.

Finally, that's how bak chang were formed and dragonboat festival were incurred.

The end.

Forgetfulness

ALZHEIMER!

I think I am having it at this age.

My forgetfulness is getting worse.

I bought something yesterday and I planned to go exchange for another one after work today. I quickly prepare everything (receipt, warranty card etc) I needed and placed them nicely on the table before I took my shower.

My dad told me not to go early but I insisted because I know I will be lazy later. However, he offer to fetch me there which is also another reason I choose to go earlier because I know he will grumble a lot.

There I go, I drove out from my apartment and off into the main road and I got stuck in a jam so I tried using another route which was also jam. As I was queuing, I realized I forgotten bout the receipt I left on the table then I tried turning back home which brought me into another traffic jam. URGHH!!!

There goes my forgetfulness.

The above is nothing as compared to what I am about to ramble about. Few months ago when I had to fetch my brother to school, I took him for lunch before dropping him off. After I order my food and drinks, only then realized that my purse is not in my bag. I quickly drove back home and ran up to my apartment, but I left my bag in the car. So I had to run back down to get my bag and only realize my keys are already in my pocket.

What can I do to improve my memory?

Hello world, my blog has been dead for quite some time. Let me update something here.

I was super busy with assignments and exams previously which explains the Missing in Action.

But now, I spend my time working from morning 8.30 to 5.30 in the evening. By the time I get back home, I'll be really tired and no time to blog.

Anyway, from the 1 month experience I had, working in a big firm I realize I actually prefer working more than studying. It gives me some sort of satisfaction when I finish with what I am assigned to. I think thats because I find it more realistic to work with my hands than my imagination.

Studying is something like imagining and I realize that smarter students are also quite good in arts. That's what I remembered from high school. Most of the top students in my class are also good in drawing. To sum things up, I suck at imagining.

I finally curled my own hair too!

Don't ask me how I did it but it took me 5 long hours to curled my whole head.

Yet, it is still not curly enough.

That's a curler I am holding. Imagine with my hair this thick, how many small lil curlers I need. I am short of them, so I separately curled my hair three times!!!

Self Dyed-Hair

I dyed my own hair for the first time! It is because I heard about this new product where all you have to do is just shampoo your hair with dye. So instead of using the shampoo, I used hair dye. It's quite difficult actually because I can't see the back of my head so I couldn't lather the dye on my hair behind.

Therefore, the colour doesn't come out smoothly...

It's brown now! I am not red-head anymore. "Like I ever was la..."

Notice my curls are all gone already. I was thinking, since I DIY dying my hair, I should DIY curling it too!

It was actually quite interesting when you know among your friends are some who actually don't mind same sex relationship. I don't think it has anything to do with conservatism because this is more on general perception. We were talking about whether guys mind liking girls which were lesbians or girls having gay-ed bf.

It's obvious that we were all created, distinguishing us by way of gender. From very very very long ago its been planted in our brain that guys must be with girls and vice versa. This is because we are all in a circle of life where guys and girls come together to produce another life but this is not possible with same sex relationship. Thus, in the mind of most people its pretty abnormal.

Being conservative is like my parents who doesn't like me mixing around with guys when I was in high school. The difference between this situation and the one before is the results. No matter at what age you hang around with boys, sooner or later I am still going to have boy classmates, man colleagues, boyfriend and husband. As for the previous situation, sooner or later it is still not possible for same gender to reproduce.

This post is merely to clear my thoughts because I find myself having difficulties in explaining my opinion when I was having this topic with my friends. It has nothing to do with prejudiced or whatsoever. So my opinion (the above) is trying to explain to some of my friends why most people still mind such relationship.

Travelling

Again, I don't understand why there are people who rather go travel shopping than sight seeing.

I had a topic with a bunch of friends a few days ago about where to travel and all...

I told them I like going places where there are many historical buildings and architecture because I love seeing how great is mankind. We can build something so extraordinary few thousand years ago and continue to advance in the future. Boring huh....

Then another friend of mine prefer to go places like Hong Kong, Taiwan where they are all mostly city-like countries. Of course if I am rich enough I would wanna go shopping overseas too but is this what you call travelling?

Once in a while is fine with me but my list for 'places-to-travel' would not begin with shopping.

Anyway, I have now learnt how to accept other people's opinion cause I have an auntie who belongs to those group too. :D

It's been more than a month since I last post anything.

Was pretty busy past few weeks as assignments and tests are pouring in.

Anyway, something happened to me a while ago which deserves a post. :p

I was stopped by a police one night after fetching my sibling for dinner. At first, the police look quite stern and after he saw me he politely asked for my driving license. What's more surprising was he said 'Terima Kasih" when he returned me my license.

I sound like some ulu girl who never been stopped by police before, its true! I never did.

If ever it happened to me was when I'm with my dad and he was the one who got stopped not me. They never say thank you k.. The most is 'ok, jalan'.

After I told my dad this, he said I look like a kid that's why they stopped me instead of other more suspicious car. The police must be questioning in his mind, why is the youngest driving?

Nah... I may be small but I am the BIG SIS!

Hairstyle

I have problem with hairstyles.

My face don't suit different hairstyles and I am also not the type who would dare to go beyond my zone of beauty. Another way of saying it, I am the boring type who would prefer all-natural!

I used to have this long, extremely straight, middle-parting hair which I believed it is really pretty cause everyone keep telling me 'your hair should be an advertisement for shampoo, so nice and silky'. I naively think the word "nice" would kept me from changing styles.

I thought I'll look like Megan Fox!

She has middle parting too... why does it look so sexy on her?

Then I tried curling my oh-so-beautiful hair, and everyone was like 'the curls suit you soooo much!'. The same thing happen again, I would stick to the same style and never change.

My hair have been through 4 times under hot iron, it's damaged. I need a change but I don't want to go back to the same-ugly-straight hair which pulls down my face.

Would rebonding be a good change?

How I wish I have a face like her.

I don't believe she had plastic surgery, fake double eyelids, fake eyelash and 2-inch thick make-up. They are just not so modern, yet she look so much prettier than falsies. I just wanna know how the partners take it when they remove their make-up.

I don't know how other schools taught their students but one thing for sure MGS certainly did a good job.

I am those type of person who are extremely sensitive to ill-mannered behavior, that includes myself. I really hate myself so much that I'll cry when I realized I talk damn rude to my dad. There's a season when I am really angry, that's when I am mean and rude then I'll calm down and go back to normal or extremely happy. Ahhh~ my mood is like the weather, unpredictable.

Today, I heard someone said that they'll try to talk nicely which is good although you sound damn sarcastic but what bothers me is why do you have to try??? Isn't it a norm to speak nicely I mean anyone would feel better to speak with sincerity and politely right... The world outside is getting more confusing and angry.

I miss those people in MGS, I feel like home when I am at school.

Hate it as many of us were going to say goodbye pursuing our dreams after high school.

Was so happy cause we get to be "adult".

This post is dedicated to my friend who is going to leave Penang for her studies to London.

I miss her all of a sudden.

Although she is still in Penang as I am writing this but she is leaving tomorrow.

I am crying now.

Although she is coming back soon I think.

The feeling is funny cause all the while I am the type of person who don't really care since many people come and go in our life. But now all I am thinking is those memorable times that we had since we knew each other. Friend for 14 years.

Imagine how much we know each other? Well, actually we don't cause I think I'll never finish knowing her and I don't wish too. Why there's always this saying friends are forever, I guess partly is because you'll never get bored with them, constantly trying to understand them like an endless story. You wanna know what's going on with their life *kaypo*, being kaypo is the best way to catch up!

I tried looking for photos when we were younger but I can't. My fault. I was really camera shy when I was little. I tend to look away people take photo of me that's why most of my primary school photos show only half of my face. Haha. That is also one of the reason I don't have many photos with Mei Mei when we were small.

Anyhow, I really wish her the best of luck and hope she enjoy every moment she spend there. I know she'll come back as a very successful pharmacist and with many stories to tell. So excited for her!!!

Woo~hoo!

I finished my exam already.

As usual exam is difficult but I managed to pull it through in the end by burning midnight oil every night. Almost every night.

Well before the exam I was very panicked as I don't know how to do at all. Although I was just practising tutorials, I just stare at it blankly.

However, I finished the syllabus and able to answer most of the questions in exam but there's one I question I did it wrongly all because I don't pay attention in class and I never knew there is such rule to follow. "New" resolution for the next sem: Pay attention in class.

Today is the first day of my holiday but HH just went back for his exam. Sad.

By the time he comes back, my new sem starts. More Sad.

That's why I said I am free. I don't know what to do.

I don't know why am I so excited as this is not the first time I see a burning house so near to me.

Yesterday, I woke up and as I was lying on my bed, I heard this fire crackers 'cracking' away...

Tried to get back to sleep but the cracking noise just wont stop, so I went to the window to see who the idiot was, then I managed to see a real idiot who set his own house on fire. Well, not really seen the person, but it came out in the newspaper, the victim confessed her son likes to play with fire. HAH!

I couldn't remember when was the last time I slept for only 3 hours.

I was seating for a very important paper this morning, it's called Advanced Financial Accounting. This subject is a core subject & it definitely determines whether am I capable of being in this field.

Previous night, feelings were all jumbled up; anxious, happy & excited filling me all at once.

Anxious is because I am afraid I might stare at the paper blankly not knowing what to do.

Happy, cause its the 3rd paper, I am left with 2 more to go.

Excited is because I wanted to challenge myself, how last minute practice can help me in my exam. heh..

I know I wasn't prepared to seat for the paper but I was so eager to finish it.

End the torture of late nights studying.

Finally, it's now over. I just woke up from my 3 hour nap, make it up to night before.

Grandma's birthday

I celebrated my grandma's birthday yesterday.

After the last Chinese New Year, this is the first time we had another celebration at my grandma's. I am grateful things got better among us (cousins) after the disputes on CNY this year. I hope my grandma is happy too. The cold war took so long to settle was because nobody is willing to say sorry or give in.

Why sorry is the hardest word to say even when you're so close to that someone?

Am I the only one having such problem or everyone else is the same?

Thank god is all over now, we are one happy family again! Sadly, I have no photos to upload, I wasn't the cameraman. Shall wait for my cousin to send me those photos. :D

AAC Y1S1-Exam

My first exam is just around the corner... as it is my first year in Advance Diploma.

There is only about a week left to the first paper. I haven't finish studying yet, at this time everybody should be doing their revisions already. Unlike me, I am still so new to those subjects just as if I've been skipping classes for the whole semester.

This semester is my worse one ever, for the first time I failed my test. How could this be happening, although it's just a minor test to constitute marks for coursework but it really pull down my confidence towards this subject. Besides that, I didn't do well for other tests too.

I really wanted to score for the finals... well that's my aim to score but now I think all I can hope for is just to pass. God please help me. T.T

How ironic, I was just mentioning about how much I feel belong to the class I am in right now.

The next thing I know I was being harassed.

The story begins from last Friday, 13th August 2010.

My class-rep passed me a stack of students' particulars for everyone of us to verify our own particulars. As I was reading it, someone just came snatch the stack away right in front of me without saying anything and throw it back at me after finish doing his stuff with it.

I was already rather shocked to see such behavior from a guy to a girl.

In addition to the rude move, he also threw me his own particulars sheet and told me to put it back in mandarin. "Fang Huey Chu." Sorry bout the bad pinyin, I know nothing bout Chinese characters. Whoa, that went overboard.

I went back home and explained the whole situation to another classmate of mine who is close to him. So that classmate can tell this person to change his attitude.

I am too busybody.

I don't know how this fella went to tell him.

I came to school today, there came this person knocking on my table :

"Next time if you wanna talk about people please say it in front, don't go behind my back".

(He said it in mandarin.) Kena bomb!

I told him, "I tried talking to you a few times, never once you were mannerly enough to look at me while I am talking to you". He said "OK, I will change." Imagine the way he says it... T.T

If you mean it, you wont have to knock on a girl's table and talk to her in your extremely sarcastic tone. *Thinking aloud*

I went to this guy who I complained to, I was furious. He was the one who told me trust his talking skills and now I am being harassed. He told me to let it go...

WTF A girl letting it go for a guy???

I cried in class. Never be honest again to strangers.

My intention was just to voice out my dissatisfaction towards what he did.

Of course I wont cry outside, I will cry right in front of everybody because I want them to know how not gentleman a guy hurt a girl so much.

Sadly, I don't think he knows it was his fault. He also went behind my back talking bad about me. I guess.

Well now lemme summarize, it is a HE, very much older than me who is mad at a girl who he treated ill-mannerly and made the girl cry in front of the whole class. Never say sorry although he harassed a few times and still talking bad about the girl when he was the one who scowl at me not to talk behind his back?

Right now, I don't know how to survive anymore in this class. I feel blinded by the fake smiles in the class.

To feel belong is very difficult, as I have been struggling for 2 years now.

For the first time, after 2 years in college I've found a group where I actually feel connected to. It's a waste one of us had left us before having the chance to know us better.

It could be a problem of language.

When I was in diploma my mandarin was horrible and if I were to speak English I felt that my ex-classmates couldn't get me. But now I can easily speak mandarin, Hokkien and even English.

Besides that, the approach used was different too. My friends tried to talk to us (me and my own gang of friends) whenever they can, pulled us into their group.

I felt really bad when one of us had to leave. It's like I didn't have the chance to know her as everyone was very busy with their assignments. I think she's having a good time in another college since it's not so stressful. Wishing her all the best~

I hope our friendship can last long and bond closer as the years past. :)

Birthday!!!

I know it's a bit late but better late than never. Here's a post on my birthday. 26th of June. Realized how my 2 earlier post bout convocation, and anniversary falls on the same day too?

I celebrated 3 events this year! Don't like it... but it was memorable.

After my convocation, HH fetched me back home and to sort of rest. He said that he'll meet me for dinner later that day cause he wants to go play football before that. So I sort of believed him and went back. Took a rest, busy replying all birthday wishes on Facebook. Whoa that really took a very very long time, around 2 hours to finished thanking every single wish.

I forgotten to switched my handphone to ringing mode after the convocation event and I left it in my room. So as I was enjoying myself at home, watching tv suddenly HH knock on the door looking for me.

Happily, I went to him asking why did you come up... bla bla bla.

Then he told me coldly to check my phone. My parents told me to ask him to come in for a seat but he walked away. I was shocked and scared. I don't know what to do. I went to my phone and saw 22 miss calls, it was only then I understand why the sudden 'outrage'.

I quickly changed and went out to look for him but he was standing there waiting for me. Thanks for not leaving me. According to him, he has been calling me for 30 minutes and wanted to give me a surprise but I spoilt it.

I don't know what to say, I was shaking all over, I guess that was because it was the first time someone just walked away, right in front of me and he looked so worried and sad. Felt really horrible. Sorry darling.

Well, he still have to give me the surprise so he blindfolded me drove me to someplace. I am very good at roads, I don't have to see I can even feel where he was going. ( Incredibly proud of my ability) I asked him are we at this specific landmark when we stop for red light, he answered no. Then he took me for a small tour and actually made me lost. My biological 'GPS' couldn't detect no more. Soon, I found out I was right bout the landmark that's why he went for a little tour.

When we finally reached, the place was so quiet. I was asked to take out my blindfold and there they was. All my beloved friends there singing me a birthday song... xoxo

I was extremely happy but the happiness kinda contra off with the fear and worries I felt earlier. I couldn't cry cause I am not that type, I never have tears of joy. We are suppose to laugh when we are happy not cry. Ish. My perception again.

They told me many didn't make it for the party because of some reasons. They were afraid I will be sad and thought many PPK but after I found out who was invited and the number of people. Totally happy about it.

I can't blame those who didn't show up, I am not close to them. If I were in their shoes, I wouldn't attend too. The party was held in my bf's house not mine, they don't know me and I don't expect them to know someone more stranger to them, its difficult.

I don't think I'll be as happy because I will be worrying bout bringing everyone together, talk bout a topic where everyone is familiar with. So mafan...

Anyway, thank you for trying to give reasons for not coming at least you guys made an effort so those who plan will know how much food to prepare. For those who didn't reply, I don't know what to say. It does hurt me ya know... or you guys do it on purpose. Oh no I am thinking too much again. Why so mean?!

End of Sem1

Yay, finally everything is finished. All assignments, presentations and tests. Which means I am getting nearer to D enemy, final exam!!!

In the previous post, I said something bout conducting presentation. Well usually presentations should be conducted in class but mine was a bit odd. It was in the lecturer's room. That's because the whole building did not have electricity therefore some of my other classmates who wants to finish it earlier insist we present yesterday.

So we did, in a small super uber cramp room which I have no presentation feeling at all. So I did badly. The maximum time is only 8 minutes but according to the time keeper my presentation lasted 10 minutes plus. I guess that's due to technical error when my video were unable to play.

It's over anyway, don't give a damn bout it anymore.

Now, I am back to my CSI series. Finishing season 3, watched all over from season 1. :D

Secretly hope I was in forensic field. ;P

Can someone tell me I made the right choice to pursue in accounting field?

I find my self studying without understanding, basically accepting everything printed on the book which makes no sense to me.

Everytime I try to study accounts, my mind went auto shut down. Even when I try out the exercises, it starts out very well and then came the balance sheet part- 'not balance'. WTF.

How can I not balance a fake account, when I have to handle a full set of million-dollars-accounts in the future? :(

I might as well find a rich guy, who loves me and allow me to take care of his accounts, I think I'll be good at that, sure BALANCE! :D

Whee~ We celebrated our 1st dating anniversary! <3

Me and HH came as a couple a year ago on the 26th of June, my birthday. :D

He asked me to be with him in a fine restaurant , Mansion 32 on this date. Well, actually he didn't really ask. He assumed I'll accept his non-verbal request, which is true. I'm not gonna explain how it goes, let's just say it was a 'clean and fast' get-together. heh...

Anyway, we went back to the restaurant this year and it was the World Cup season and they were broadcasting a match between Portugal and Brazil. You can imagine how not romantic the place is (when your bf is a football freak fan) but it does brings back sweet memories.

I am glad that we are happy together to celebrate this day. Love you YHH.

A friend of mine told me a few days ago that I am the sort of person that thinks the world must revolve around my liking, those who have their own preferences are weird to me.

I do notice this bad side of me long time ago, I have been trying to change but you know old habits die hard. The way you think its a habit, right?

Like there's this friend of mine who likes this girl, which until today I still don't understand why he likes her. They are couple now. Not that I am jealous, sure I am not. The guy is not really attractive himself but the girl....

Well, I find it weird cause he always tell us bout the type of girl he likes before he had her. Now the gf is totally not the type. The type that I am talking bout is SNSD type, some Korean girl singing group. Maybe not everyone can get their dream one...especially when you are not capable to get one of those type too.

HEH, I know I am cruel but still there are many other girls that will be better than her why choose her? Love is really blind...

Convocation

Finally!!! After 2 years of diploma, I've graduated...

Nah... it's just a diploma convocation.

Anyways, I hate the fact that they held it on the 26th of June. The ceremony took up almost half of my birthday.

The day started quite bad as I was late to college, my parents took their own sweet time to have breakfast when I have no appetite at all. I was incredibly nervous.

When I reached the college, I saw everyone have already put on their robes and started lining up for the procession to enter the hall and I haven't makeup yet... So I started whining and throwing temper at my mum, simply applied the makeup.

Of course I am not gonna let this small lil thing spoil my day, so I just carry on with the ceremony.

I was told that some big shot is gonna present us our certificates, her name is Ng Yen Yen, a Dato I think.

Animal

A few weeks ago, my family was happily going back home from my grandma house. I remember we had a conversation on what to have for lunch, as we were deciding what to eat, we were attack by an animal, a beast, an ugly freaking bastard.

It happened like this, my apartment have a multi-storey carpark just like the one in Queensbay (if you know where there is). When you found the right spot, do you rush to it or purposely turn a big round to get to the carpark?

Usually, a normal person will rush to it not bothering whether its one-way flow or not. This goes the same to the animal.

Since it is an animal, the way it drives will not be as steady a man driving. Do you recall when you watch, all the animals show like Chipmunks, it drives a car, the scene will always show the car swaying instead of driving in a straight line. This was exactly what happened!

That bastard drove down from a slope and made a turn, it's car swing to our side. We are one of those who don't care bout one-way too, but we were very careful, when we saw him coming down, we stopped but we miss out that it is a binocular-visioned animal. So we honk him to alert him that we are there, guess what we miss out he is a wild animal too....

It winds down the window, scare us with its hideous looking face, shouted something in hokkien.

Animal : Honk what! Wanna fight, come down from the car.

Dad: No, we just honk to alert you.

Animal: you are wrong, how dare you honk me. * took out baseball bat*

WTF, dad took down umbrella.

Protect us what...

I don't think my dad is wrong by taking down umbrella, the animal so lame no claws have to use baseball bat and almost hit my dad. So my mum went down to protect my dad with an umbrella too. We warned the animal that we will call police, send him to zoo.

Damn! It is very brave, threaten us to call wor... scream at us told us to die. Said he can see our family die one by one since he is single. Low class animal, any other animal in the world worth more than him even an ant!

Of course, we went to make police report just to keep as a motive if anything happen to us next time. The first person we suspect its him, narrow down police work. So nice of us...

Today, I saw IT again. Animals knows how to lie, got 2 cups and a bitch said single.

A friend once told me call someone stupid, it will be 7 times worse to you. Well, we'll see if it is proven.

I wonder what will his sons think of him when they saw him in that situation? Will they hate him or stop respecting him? Is he an animal at home too? Will the sons become another him or worse? What will he think if his sons actually turn into bastards like him?

I think they will hit him with baseball bat too, if he don't disappear from their lives earlier. Should I pity him or his family?

Previous blog, I posted that I want my college assignments, tests and presentation, all spread out, Gosh... I can only handle one per week. My wish came true!

Seriously, I feel more relax now comparing to what I felt yesterday, down and emo.

I haven't been updating for a while cause I've been really busy with college stuff. Everything; tests, assignments, presentations, all due at the same time! *Sometimes I really prefer all these comes in consecutively, one per week, not all at once. * I am so damn tired...

Luckily, HH is not back till the end of all these 'chaos', if he is back I won't even have time for him. :( I have to sacrifice not seeing him for 5 weeks.

Skynet is a courier company which I recently dealt with due to an online purchased that I made.

This is actually my first time doing online purchasing, super excited ok! According to the online shop person, I forgotten what's her name, nevermind call her S, she told me that this courier service only send goods on Friday so I waited for 2 weeks.

That morning when I was on the way to college, I received a call from the courier guy, he was damn bloody RUDE!

I better draft the dialogue out, I can't explain how the conversation went in paragraph.

Courier guy (CG) : Hello, Ann Ting?! (pronounce my name wrongly! can't blame him, he is not the first person)

Me: Ya...

CG : Ini courier service, alamat awak Tingkat awak 90 XXXXXX

Me: (I could'nt catch what he said as I was driving) Bukan Blok 90, Tingkat ...Lorong XXX, *name of apartment*

Did he realize he said tingkat 90? Tallest apartment in Penang!
I was trying to help the guy to locate my apartment easier, there are a few apartment around my area. So I repeat the name of my apartment a few times.... I know I am wrong to interrupt as he was 'telling' me my house address.

CG : Harlo, boleh dengar saya cakap! urgh....! Alamatnya, XXX. Ada orang kat rumah! <-- freaking rude!

Me: Adalah!

Courier guy just off the phone, he wasn't trying to confirm the address with me, more like telling me what's my address. Bastard. He still don't realize his mistake.

Instead of feeling excited bout it, I was furious... I thought of writing complain letter. Well, why not blog about it? Whole world will know how idiotic that guy is and hopefully Skynet find out who is the guy, and give him some proper etiquette lessons.

My Water Moments

The minute I read the email sent to me by Nuffnang, I know I definitely need a compact waterproof camera! This is because I've experienced taking photos under water and it sucks!

The colours are pale, more like blue black... Our lips are purple colour!

This happened 2 months ago, me and my friends were on a trip to 'The Lost World of Tambun' located in Ipoh. They have water games, dry games and zoo in that small area. I said it's small because I actually walked the whole park within one or two hours.

Back to the topic, when you go such place with your friends and loved ones, definitely you want to capture the moments, fill up your whole memory card, take any picture possible including underwater.

One of my friend have a waterproof camera, that was the first time we tested out that function and was quite fascinated by it. Making me feel like having a waterproof camera too! Sadly, the quality underwater wasn't so good.

Artificial Intelligence is a term I learn from a subject that I had to take in college. It is a technical term in 'IT world'. It is used to describe technology that are smart, like robots but their knowledge doesn't come from robots, they are combined knowledge of experts into the robots.

In layman term, it simply means 'Keh kiang' in hokkien (direct translation to english: fake smart)

The reason for this post today is because I am so darn pissed with someone, and I really don't know how to express how pissed am I. So I am gonna start blabbering here.

Let's call this person X.

X pisses me off because X think X is always right. X finds very very hard to accept other people's opinion. Well, it's ok with me if you don't wanna accept my opinion but... X also thinks you are always wrong.

Not accepting opinion and thinking other people is wrong, they are two very different thing.

When X found out X is wrong, X never admits it. Keh Kiang can have high ego also huh...

I am not going to describe the small details of the situation because it pisses me off more. From the above, its enough to understand what X did.

My dad just came back from Indonesia today, he was there for 10 days. Every time he goes outstation, he will buy back tonnes of chocolate as souvenirs. This time is different, he haven't been outstation for quite some time, and he bought back perfume for me and my sister.

I don't understand why didn't he buy anything from Bali, even the chocolate he bought for my bro is from the airport, KLIA and so are the perfumes. He said I couldn't find anything I like from there... anyway, I am happy with what I got. Whee~~

My dad got good taste huh! It smells really nice and suit young adults.

Overpowered

Finally the BF went back already, after 2 weeks of fun, I really miss him this time. Its very odd in a way, because I've never miss him this much. Every other time when he goes back to KL, I wouldn't think so much like now...

His face overpowered my mind, the capability of remembering is failing. I shall explain why did I make it sound so serious.

I got home from college, its very unusual today as I drove in a very relax manner back home, usually I'll just rush back and drive like mad woman on the road. So I took about 45 minutes to reach home instead of 20 minutes. Imagine how slow I was driving...

My heart doesn't feel right as I was driving back home. It felt so heavy.

Well, I stay in an apartment, I parked my car, waited for the lift, reached my level and walk to my unit, insert the key into the keyhole, and remembered my mum told me to pick up my brother from school. So I rushed down to my car, drove like crazy then I realized it's only 6.00 pm when my brother dismissed at 6.45. I stopped my car at the side of the road, staring ahead, my mind is empty.

Then it started, tears spilling out from the tear duct in my eyes.. pouring like heavy rain.

Why am I so forgetful?

Why am I so useless?

Is this the cause of advance diploma? I bet it is! I don't like things not going according to my way, but it seems like I couldn't catch up in everything now. I paid full attention in lecture yet all I see is the lecturer's mouth moving.

Today was suppose to be a good day, start by being a good daughter that accompany her mum for breakfast.

I drove my mum to have dimsum this morning, she have been talking bout it for 2 days... So we went to the dimsum restaurant opposite UMNO buliding. I found a car park along the road, and then came the parking attendant that destroyed our beautiful morning.

This is how the conversation sound like,

Parking attendant (PA): Mau pi makan? (going to eat?)

Mum : Ya

PA : 80 sen

Me : Setengah jam 80 sen?! 40 sen kut.. (half an hour for 80cents, you mean 40?)

PA : *starts raising voice* Makan tentu lama lama, 80sen. Kalau setengah jam, saya kena tulis lagi tau, menyusahkan saja. Saya tak mau nanti kena cari saya...
(It takes a long time to eat, so 80cents, if you pay for half an hour, I have to issue another ticket which is tedious)

Mum : Tak pa, kami bayar kat komtar, tak perlu bagi kamu duit. ( It's ok, we pay at the main office)

Me: Ini kerja kamu, masih mahu buat bising??? (It's your job! You dare to make a sound!!!)

What I am trying to say here,

First, this idotic man is so freaking lazy.

Second, he trying to cheat our money.

Third, he is cheating in a stupid and brainless way.

Fourth, he cheats and thinks he is damn smart to cheat that way. WE don't know how long WE eat???

Fifth, I don't know how he get his job.

College just started 2 days ago, I am totally not excited bout it. I had 5 weeks holiday and I only spend about a week with my BF.

The only thing that keeps me happy is the 100% merit scholarship that I got from college, my hard earned scholarship.

100% ok!

I hate the timetable.
I hate the incredibly hard subject in which according to the lecturer, the passing rate is very low previous year. ( I hope I can do well in every subject, not going to lose my beloved scholarship...)
I hate that most of my classmates are changing class leaving only 10 people in class for now.

My resolution for the new study year is:
Score in all subjects.

Everybody knows those people who always puts on a sad face are difficult to mix with. This topic pops up today because a friend of mine was commenting on his girlfriend's dad the other day about his never-smile-face.
There's this belief among the Chinese that those who always have an angry or sad face on are harder to get rich. It wasn't a popular belief, maybe only feng shui wise???

Anyway, I talk about this to my sister cause some of my friends always says that my dad don't smile either, I am not saying you have to smile 24/7 but not a look that scares people away...
Instead of agreeing with happy face, my sister was quite defensive. She said she doesn't care what people think of her or her face.

Come on, its not about what people thinks, its impression and whether or not you are an approachable person or not. A smiley face will help in your social life. That's for sure, at least people would dare to come up to you than keeping themselves away. No man is an island, you need friends, you need to communicate. Period.

Colourful Eye

I never tried any other colour on my eye other than black and brown. This is the outcome of non-pro make up.

All you need to have are liquid liner and mascara for the finish touch. Can add in fake eyelash too. Not bad heh... sound like pro.

Mother's Day

Happy Mothers' Day to all mothers!!!

As usual my family don't celebrate mothers' day. I don't buy present for her every year either.

Things change starting last year, I've learned to appreciate my mum more although her nagging gets on my nerves countless times in a day.
I bought her Estee Lauder perfume last year, she wanted it but she don't use it everyday cause she got so many other perfumes that are even older than me.
This year I got her a purse, super pretty from Liz Claiborne, one of her favourite brand. I hated her previous purse, its so old and the pocket for notes is too deep. She always have a hard time taking out her money.

So I went to Parkson in search of purse, I already had in my mind to get the Fossil one then I came upon this... So so so much more lovely and classy.

Notice the clovers? Sweet...

Went home and surprised my mum with this, seriously I never seen her look surprised in my entire life. Not with this either.
I transfer all the contents from the previous purse into this but it couldn't close. Shit.

Sigh..Going back to exchange for another purse tomorrow. Hopefully they allow.

Crack heels

I finally bought myself a corn and callus file. I never thought of buying such thing cause I think its simply not worth it and never thought that it would work.

I can't control my 'gatal' hand for peeling those dry callus. Way too tempting, it then resulted in bleeding. Imagine how deep I peeled those skin... hahaha
Had a very difficult time walking too because the pain of my heel, really "bare" foot without the skin.

I thought of going for fish spa, then my dad was saying that it is very dirty because those people with skin disease might go for such thing. So, if I were to go then the same fish that ate diseased skin are going to feed on mine too! I don't wanna end up having skin problems.

I went Watson today, came upon the callus file, why not give it a try... Its RM14.90! Exxy....

But it does help a lot! My feet are back to normal, Whee~~~

Liquid eyelid maker

My friends and I went for movies and shopping at Queensbay just now.
One of us, Sherine bought those liquid that forms double eyelid after recommended by Ee Lynn. It is some sort like a glue that stick your eyelid up which forms a fold.

She tried it on and it looks like she just applied glue on to her eyelid. So we went back to the shop ask the shop assistant how to do it.

They help Sherine out by putting a whole thick layer of the liquid and it didn't came out well.

Guess how they clean it off???

They open up a packet of the wet wipes from the stock and took out a piece from it.
Then they took a push-up stick ( the white stick in the picture) from stock to form the fold on Sherine's eyelid.

We didn't buy those wet wipes and also the push-up stick. Can you imagine? The staff have been using all the products and yet they continue to sell it.

In the end, me and Ee Lynn were the ones who help Sherine apply the liquid and it turns out perfectly well.

Never going back to the shop again.

I've just noticed every couple must have an album in Facebook. Though all the photos are almost the same but they have hundreds of them.

I want to have an album with my BF too, sadly we couldn't or more like we are kinda reluctant to. So happen, BF and I are not photogenic, so we can't take any sweet photos with funny faces or whatsoever... We can only take those portrait kinda look.

So boring....

How to get the right angle of your face???
Feels so lazy to keep taking photos of myself and out of 100 only 5 of them are nice. I wonder how much time people spent on camwhoring.

Introducing brother

Finally, I introduced my brother to BF.

One of the reason I hate introducing BF to family members is because its too awkward. I will suddenly turn into some loud speaker or stupid talkshow. Asking nonsense or crap just to start a topic which both parties can understand.

For example,

BF: Lei sek pau mei? (cantonese; which means 'Have you taken your lunch/dinner' any meal ler)

Bro nod his head.

Me: Hahahaha, (fake laugh) hui ge kwong tong wa hou kei kuai hor... (His cantonese is weird huh...)

End of conversation

We were in the elevator then, I can even hear the engine sound of the exhaust fan running.

My brother is too quiet, very worried. Is this part of growing up?

Long car rides

I HATE long car rides, whatever rides there are plane or train or bus...
I never took a plane in my life, just once to Sarawak which is about an hour and a half ride. I didn't leave my eyes from the window, it is soooo beautiful from up there.

Now back to long car rides, bf and I went for lunch with 2 of our friends after movies. It was already 4 something to 5. We were practically going round Penang island for food... I hate to hunt for food! Its like sitting in the car cracking your brain on what to eat, Penang is the food haven!

We already settled to go one but its too oily for one of us who is sick, then next; not open, went for another one, took the wrong turning...urghhhh

People plus me must learn how to stay on our decision, we are just so indecisive.

BF gave me a surprise by coming back early! :-D

Embarassing much

After a few months of the same old boring curls which I did the same style a year ago, I thought of having a short fringe instead of one-length.

The thought was initiated by Hayden Penetierre. I adore her... Saw a picture of her in Seventeen magazine, I decided to copy her fringe.

Since I was super free waiting for my sister to dismiss from extra curricular activities, I went to the salon near my house. It is less than 5 minutes walk there, so I walked.

Although it was only less than 5minutes, I was sweating like a pig by the time I reached. The salon was packed.
I knew they don't charge for a fringe cut but I rather they charge, at least RM5 but its too insulting for professionals to even take the small amount of money.

The boss of the salon was there today, he told me to sit on a stool at a corner, like some 3 year old kid then took up my bands and chopped. Done.

I took the picture out for him to see, expect him to slowly cut and style it and he finish it in 10 counts. Told him to trim it up and do a little layering, as he held my hair, the back of his hand certainly touched my face and my forehead was sticky and sweaty. Noooooo.....feels so dirty.

"Why do human face or maybe only mine start sweating before any other part of the body?"

Another 4 seconds, finished. He ended with a comment 'Today its a hot day huh...'
What can I say???

Patrol cars not doing patrolling duties

A few days ago, my uncle came back from KL to a small little town in Penang known as Bukit Mertajam. He was walking back to his house from the railway station, it was almost daylight, around 6 something in the morning. As he was walking, two men on a motorcycle approach him demanding him to give them everything valuable.

They wanted to hit my uncle but of course my uncle gave them everything, life more important ma... he was carrying an office bag with important documents inside. The 2 men wants the bag too so my uncle beg them not to take it. Can bargain also huh...

After they left just 40 seconds a patrol car drove pass, my uncle stopped them and told them bout the incident, asking them to chase after the 2 idiotic thieves.
They told my uncle to go to the police station to report instead.

errrrr.... What is patrolling for again?
To prevent crimes from happening and to settle the case immediately?
This was taught in school, so meaning what we learned is different from what we practise.

Then why go to school?

This blog post is initiated by some lazy policemen I've met or heard of recently.

It just happened tonight around 11 something, as I was on the way back home. There was a procession going on along the way; it was a two way street.
We reached a junction where the turning towards my house was block by a motorbike, but it was not a police motorcycle nor it was in the middle of the road. It covered only half of the road, so we thought maybe some guy went to watch the procession and left it there.

There are people who ride their bikes against the traffic so why not leaving the bike on the road when the cars are almost at a stand still right...

We pass through using the half uncovered side of the road la... Then the police came running towards us, knock our car; that's when we know that it was the police who blocked the road.

As nice people, we wind down the window and said sorry. Instead of being a forgiving police and continue his job, he wasted time scolding us although it was less than 5 minutes only but obviously he was throwing temper because he have to work at near midnight clearing the roads for some Chinese procession. LAZY.

Well, if they run out of idea on 'How to Block Roads' here are some ideas. If he is really serious bout his job, he should use cones or those police 'berhenti' sign to block the road not some ordinary motorbike or even their own police motorcycle also can what... Very misleading.

I am going to continue another police 'story' in the next post.

Blacklisted?

I am having trouble with nuffnang. I created an account when I was blogging under wordpress. However, I wasn't allowed to paste the nuffnang html in the website so I asked nuffnang to remove my account.

Since I start blogging again I thought of creating a new account in nuffnang but they wouldn't allow me to do so. It notified me that I already have an acocunt. FINE.

I log into the account but the password was invalid so I requested for an email to change password, but the email never reach my inbox. What's wrong with nuffnang la...
I am blacklisted because I deleted my acocunt??? How can, I ask nicely for my account to be deleted somemore so they don't have to waste time go through my account although I know its computerised. PFFT....

Holiday Day 4

I don't know why I am starting to blog again. I guess this is my third blog. Maybe it's because of my ever so boring holiday.
I just started my semester break last Friday and I am only on my 4th day, way boring...

I watched 'Did you hear about the Morgans' this morning, the movie was out for a long time, I saw the trailer 3 months ago thought it was nice movie but end up it was rather flat.
The story line was good, I get what the movie is all about but the content is lack of all elements a good movie needs.

It's a love comedy ( I guess) but there's only one kissing scene which lasted for 7 seconds I think, I am not implementing that they should have a whole make out scene but it just doesn't have the oomph, and those so called 'funny' scenes which there are only have two I think, its not funny at all...

Maybe that's why nobody talks about it. Anyway I like Hugh Grant in the movie Two Weeks Notice, he acted with Sandra Bullock. That is a really nice love comedy. Sarah Jessica Parker; is she from Sex & the City? I never watched that movie before, I am catching the second one in coming out in May. :D
